Chisinau city tour - The capital city of Moldova will surprise you with a lot of green spaces and trees,giving you a feeling that you are not in a capital city but in a resort. You will find lots of historical buildings and different architectural styles like: Romanesque, Modern Venetian Baroque, Neobizantyne etc. Most of the city's sights are situated in the center on the Stefan cel Mare boulevard. Tiraspol city tour - Located 40 miles southeast of Chisinau in the Nistru Valley, Tiraspol is considered to be a living museum of Soviet culture. With a population of 200,000 the city still has its share of Lenin statues, monuments like a T-34 tank on the pedestal, and retained names of the streets; but Tiraspol has few restaurants and cafes and nothing in the way of Western conveniences or service. Soroca fortress tour. Soroca is located 100 miles north of Chishinau, close to the Ukrainian border. During 2.5 hour drive you will enjoy beautiful landscapes of Old Bassarabia, its small lakes and rivers. You will visit Saharna monastery, Soroca's Fortress, and eventually the village of rich Gypsies. Your guide will tell about the story of the well-kept fortress, which has been serving during many centuries as a shelter for Moldavians during Turkish and Tartar invasions.
The well-preserved medieval Soroca fortress is situated in the historical city center. The wooden fortress was erected during the rule of Stefan the Great. Then Petru Raresh rebuilt it in 1543. The 5-tower fortress represents a circumference with a diameter of 100 feet and walls that are 11 feet wide and 55-65 feet high
Cricova cellars - the underground wine city. We invite you to visit world-famous wine cellars of CRICOVA. You will see an underground city with obscure streets that are carrying the names of wines kept here: Aligote, Riesling, Codru, and Feteasca. The wines from this collection have an old history: the oldest bottle dates back to 1902. Your local guide will explain the odyssey of some bottles that have arrived there after the WWII. At the end of the excursion you will taste the most famous wines and will be given 2 bottles of wines as gifts.
Milestii Mici winery cellars. We invite you in this tour to explore the old traditions of winemaking in Milestii Mici. The qualified wine manufacturer will introduce you the underground gallery, where are a lot of huge barrels of wine. There is a special tasting hall designed in medieval style with tables and benches made of wood. The pleasant feeling of this air smothered by the aroma of wine will embrace you. Here you will try eight brands of wine and will learn the old traditions of winemaking.

RESTAURANTS
Besides the restaurants that are located in most of the hotels there are also a large numbers of restaurants in all parts of Kishinev, most of them opened after 1993 and are very modern. None of the below listed restaurants need reservations. Most of the restaurants are open daily from noon till midnight.
Gambrinus
A modern restaurant, bright decor, and even brighter terrace. The menu is Russian.
Orasul Vechi
Elegant and elitist restaurant where government ministers hang out. Prices are reasonable. The mix of traditional music with popular is also good. It has local dishes and also European cuisine. Prices are average.
Shaolin
Chinese food. Prices are average.
Indian Tandori
Serves Indian food. Although the food is not authentic it is pretty expensive by Moldovan standards.
El Paso
Serves excellent Mexican cuisine. Don’t miss the fried pork with chocolate almond sauce.
Irish Pub
Recently opened British style restaurant. Has different kind of good beer. European cuisine. It is the gathering place of the fans of the British American Racing team. Here you can watch all the Formula 1 races
These are just a few of them. There are many other restaurants which serve Mediteranian, European and Moldovan cuisine.
Cafes
When the sun shines, outside cafes sprout like mushrooms after the rain, however there number in winter is huge too. They are not so noticeable because are inside. Many serve food, all of them serve Moldovan wine, beer, coffee etc.

There are three McDonalds in town - everyone knows about Moldova.
